Senior Industrial Process Engineer

Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Process Engineer to join their dedicated team. This is an on-site position, offering direct involvement in optimizing production processes and driving operational excellence within their state-of-the-art facilities. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing improvements to manufacturing systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting production issues and ensuring the smooth operation of industrial processes.

Responsibilities

Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction. Design and implement new industrial processes and optimize existing ones using lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Develop process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions. Oversee the installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and production lines. Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations. Develop and manage process control strategies to maintain product quality and consistency. Train production staff on new processes and technologies. Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in industrial engineering. Lead process improvement projects from initiation to completion, managing timelines and resources.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in industrial process engineering, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in process optimization techniques, such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and Kaizen. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills. Proficiency in process simulation software and CAD tools is a plus. Excellent understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, and quality control systems. Strong project management and leadership skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. Experience in the specific industry sector of our client is highly desirable.
