Lead Curriculum Developer - Digital Learning

Our client, a prestigious educational institution in Bhubaneswar, Odisha , is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Lead Curriculum Developer specializing in Digital Learning. This full-time, on-site position is crucial for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge digital educational programs that meet the evolving needs of students and educators. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of instructional design principles, learning technologies, and pedagogical best practices for online and blended learning environments. You will lead a team of curriculum designers and collaborate closely with subject matter experts, faculty, and technical staff to create engaging, effective, and accessible digital learning experiences. Responsibilities will include: Leading the design and development of comprehensive digital curricula across various subjects and grade levels. Overseeing the creation of engaging online course materials, including video content, interactive modules, assessments, and supplementary resources. Applying principles of adult learning theory and instructional design to create effective learning pathways. Managing the curriculum development lifecycle, from needs analysis and content creation to pilot testing and revision. Collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and pedagogical soundness. Guiding and mentoring a team of curriculum developers, providing feedback and ensuring project deadlines are met. Evaluating the effectiveness of digital learning programs through data analysis and feedback mechanisms, and implementing improvements. Staying current with emerging trends and technologies in digital education and instructional design. Ensuring all developed content adheres to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and institutional quality guidelines. Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets for curriculum development initiatives. Facilitating workshops and training sessions for faculty and staff on effective use of digital learning tools and strategies. Qualifications: Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in curriculum development, with a strong focus on digital and online learning environments. Proven experience in leading and managing instructional design teams. Expertise in various instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and learning theories. Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard. Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate). Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
