Site Engineer - Construction

Our client, a leading construction firm renowned for its large-scale infrastructure projects, is seeking a diligent and experienced Site Engineer. This is an essential on-site role, based in **Indore, Madhya Pradesh**, requiring a hands-on approach to overseeing and managing construction activities. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, adhering to strict quality standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical knowledge of construction processes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate with diverse teams and contractors. Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure project milestones are met. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide construction work. Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, protocols, and quality standards on the construction site. Coordinate and direct the work of contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel. Manage site logistics, including material delivery, equipment usage, and workforce scheduling. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project management. Resolve on-site issues and conflicts promptly and effectively. Maintain accurate records of site activities, including labor, material, and equipment usage. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and site cleanliness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction site management and supervision. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management principles. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications. Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction industry. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving aptitude and decision-making capabilities. Experience with project management software is a plus. Must be willing to work full-time on the construction site in **Indore, Madhya Pradesh**.
