Farm Manager - Organic Produce

Our client, a sustainable agriculture venture dedicated to producing high-quality organic produce, is seeking a dedicated Farm Manager to lead operations in **Chandigarh, Chandigarh, IN**. This role requires a hands-on approach and a strong commitment to organic farming principles and best practices. The Farm Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the farm, including crop planning, planting, cultivation, pest and disease control using organic methods, and harvesting. You will oversee a team of farm workers, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to quality standards. Key responsibilities include managing irrigation systems, soil fertility programs, and implementing integrated pest management (IPM) strategies. The candidate will also be involved in record-keeping, budget management, and ensuring compliance with organic certification standards. Experience with a variety of fruits, vegetables, and possibly grains is highly desirable. You will be expected to monitor crop performance, analyze yields, and implement strategies for continuous improvement. A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field is preferred, along with at least 3-5 years of practical experience in farm management, with a specific focus on organic agriculture.
