We are seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in Nagpur, Maharashtra, IN . This is a critical on-site role where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, menu development, and food quality. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of culinary arts, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to creating unforgettable dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to hygiene standards. Develop innovative and seasonally inspired menus, including signature dishes, specials, and tasting menus. Source high-quality ingredients from reputable suppliers, negotiating prices and managing inventory. Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation across all dishes. Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards, complying with all health regulations. Control food costs and labor costs to achieve budgetary goals. Collaborate with the General Manager and Front-of-House staff to ensure seamless dining experiences. Develop and implement new culinary techniques and trends. Conduct regular taste tests and quality control checks. Manage the ordering and maintenance of kitchen equipment. Create a positive and productive work environment for the kitchen team. Respond effectively to guest feedback and resolve any culinary-related issues. Develop catering menus and oversee special event preparations. Qualifications: Culinary degree or equivalent professional training. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in high-end culinary environments, with at least 3 years in an Executive Chef or Head Chef role. Extensive knowledge of diverse cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles. Proven ability in menu engineering and cost control. Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills. Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP principles. Creative and passionate about food with a keen eye for detail and presentation. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Experience with (mention specific cuisine types or restaurant styles) is a strong asset.
