This role is vital to ensuring the seamless execution of events, from initial client consultation to final service delivery. Responsibilities include managing daily catering operations, developing and maintaining service standards, overseeing menu planning and execution in collaboration with the culinary team, managing inventory and procurement of supplies, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all daily catering operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality. Collaborate with the culinary team on menu development, costing, and execution. Manage event logistics, including setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring seamless execution. Supervise, train, and motivate catering staff, including servers, chefs, and event coordinators. Develop and implement efficient staffing schedules and manage labor costs. Oversee inventory management, including food, beverage, and supplies procurement and control. Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP, FSSAI standards). Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure satisfaction. Manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for operational improvements. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in catering management, food and beverage operations, or event management. Proven experience in supervising and leading a team. In-depth knowledge of food safety, sanitation regulations, and best practices. Excellent understanding of event planning and execution. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control.
