DevOps Engineer - IT Infrastructure Automation

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building scalable infrastructure, automating delivery pipelines, and enhancing developer productivity. Your focus will be on reliability, automation, and developer enablement through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and modern deployment strategies.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Design, implement, and maintain configuration management pipelines using Chef and/or Salt.
• Manage and operate multiple Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for Continuous Integration and ArgoCD/Spinnaker for Continuous Deployment.
• Automate developer and DevOps workflows to maximize development efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent and repeatable infrastructure provisioning.
• Assist in troubleshooting infrastructure issues, application deployment challenges, and developer-related problems.
• Develop internal tools and utilities using Python and related frameworks such as Django.
• Write and maintain scripts using Bash and/or Python for automation and system operations.
• Monitor system performance and reliability using metrics collection and monitoring tools such as Prometheus.
• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and deployment processes.
• *Qualifications:**
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Relevant DevOps or cloud certifications are a plus.
