As a Corporate Finance Analyst at our Mumbai office, your role will involve financial analysis, due diligence, and strategic support primarily focusing on the renewable energy sector. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting financial due diligence, renewable assessment reports, and credit analysis
- Performing PPA Tariff Modelling using Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis
- Demonstrating strong proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
- Evaluating and analyzing various documents and agreements including Corporate PPAs, Carbon Credit agreements, Purchase and Vendor agreements, and Insurance contracts
- Sourcing, evaluating, and executing M&A opportunities and other investment opportunities
- Assisting in preparing presentations, financial models, and other materials for investor presentations and outreach
- Tracking current portfolio performance and providing analysis against budgeted figures
- Collaborating with business stakeholders at all levels to achieve portfolio return targets
- Overseeing transaction due diligence processes
- Managing structuring and documentation related to transactions, coordinating with external legal and professional consultants as necessary
- Supporting debt sourcing activities, ensuring compliance, and managing relationships with banks and other financing stakeholders
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive business growth and profitability
- Staying updated on changes in the business landscape to identify opportunities for both organic and inorganic growth
Qualifications required for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA qualification is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the renewable energy sector
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with financial software and tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
