This role requires someone who can lead at a strategic level, collaborate across teams, and dive deep technically to solve complex problems in production environments. </p> <p><strong><span infrastructure supporting production services across network and systems domains, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability  </li> <li>Drive improvements to reliability, redundancy, and overall service delivery across infrastructure environments  </li> <li>Serve as a senior escalation point for complex production issues, troubleshooting and resolving critical incidents impacting service availability  </li> <li>Lead by example through hands-on technical contribution and ownership of challenging infrastructure problems  </li> <li>Oversee and optimize on-premises network infrastructure, including switching, routing, firewalls, and load balancing, while ensuring security and resilience  </li> <li>Architect and manage Linux systems, virtualization platforms, and server infrastructure to support stable, high-performing environments  </li> <li>Lead the development and adoption of automation across network and systems environments, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to standardize operations  </li> <li>Reduce manual processes and improve consistency across deployments and operational workflows  </li> <li>Partner with Engineering, Development, QA, and Application teams to support services and align infrastructure with business and application requirements  </li> <li>Act as a technical bridge to drive successful delivery of cross-functional initiatives </li> <li>Establish and enforce infrastructure best practices and standards while mentoring team members and elevating overall technical capability  </li> <li>Drive continuous improvement across infrastructure design, operations, and documentation </li> <li>Evaluate, design, and implement AI-assisted tooling to improve reliability, performance, and operational efficiency </li> <li>Foster the development, implementation, and progression of AI-based tools and software to streamline infrastructural tasks and expedite completion of projects and initiatives. </li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none">Experience We’re Looking For:</span></strong><span years of experience in infrastructure engineering, including deep expertise in network engineering (routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing) and systems engineering (Linux, virtualization, server hardware), along with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience may be considered) </li> <li>Proven experience supporting production environments in on-premises datacenters, with a strong focus on reliability and operational stability  </li> <li>Strong hands-on expertise in Linux administration and performance optimization across complex environments  </li> <li>Solid understanding of core networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and TCP/IP, is essential  </li> <li>Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues across the full infrastructure stack, from hardware through network and systems layers  </li> <li>Experience implementing automation and Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar is required  </li> <li>Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or equivalent) to support automation and operational efficiency  </li> <li>Familiarity with network and systems automation frameworks and modern infrastructure practices  </li> <li>Ability to operate both strategically and tactically, with a track record of owning and delivering large-scale infrastructure initiatives in fast-paced environments  </li> <li>Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts  </li> <li>Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker is strongly preferred  </li> <li>Familiarity with hybrid or cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) would be valuable  </li> <li>Exposure to monitoring, observability, and capacity planning tools and practices is a plus  </li> <li>Background in high availability, disaster recovery, and failover design is
