Job Description

Please note: This role is not internal to Nuovo. You will be directly employed by our trusted manufacturing partner, GTA Imaging, who produces our premium photo albums and frames.

GTA Imaging is a wholesale, professional photography lab and printing company with over 40 years of experience and serving photographers all across Canada. We are a family owned and operated business providing custom made albums and photographic wall art and fine art prints.

As a Client Success & Marketing Specialist based in Toronto, you'll be the face of our brand. We’re looking for an extroverted, autonomous, and hands-on professional to build loyal relationships with our creative community (in person and online) while spearheading our marketing campaigns. If you love talking to people, have an eye for merchandising, and want to help us expand, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

Client Success & Photographer Relations:

  • Be the Champion for Photographers: Serve as the primary contact via phone, email, in person, and social media with a positive, team-player attitude.
  • Consultative Sales & Business Development: Actively engage with clients, pitch our offerings, and drive business growth by helping photographers scale.
  • Become the Product Expert: Master our premium photo album and framing lines, and confidently articulate their technical details and value.
  • Consult & Guide: Act as a trusted advisor, helping photographers select the perfect products, layouts, and finishes for their brand.

Marketing & Digital Community:

  • Drive Online Campaigns: Conceptualize, launch, and maintain email marketing campaigns and website updates (promotions, new product launches).
  • Social Media & Content Creation: Manage our social media presence, creating inspiring content and engaging with our creative online community.
  • Own the Software Backend: Maintain and update our backend ordering platform with fresh features and product options.
  • Curate the Showroom & Merchandising: Design the physical showroom space, regularly updating samples with a strong eye for visual presentation.
  • Events & Workshops: Attend and host industry workshops, trade shows, and exciting in-person community events.

Administrative & Operations Backup:

  • Order Intake & Processing: Efficiently receive, log, and place incoming email orders into production with high accuracy when needed.
  • Logistics Support: Generate shipping labels and track internal lab orders to cover for team vacations or sick leaves.

Requirements

  • You bring 3 to 5 years of sales or customer service experience in a retail, hospitality, or head office environment. Previous experience or a strong interest in photography is considered a major asset.
  • You are a natural communicator with a warm, confident, and engaging presence. You genuinely thrive in front-facing roles and feel completely comfortable connecting with people in person.
  • You master the full sales cycle (discovery, pitching, closing) while maintaining a high-touch approach that builds instant trust and rapport with clients."
  • Rigorous & Reliable: You are highly detail-oriented, accurate, and reliable. You take pride in entering data correctly and keeping promises to clients.
  • You are adaptable and love a variety of tasks, from high-level marketing strategy to rolling up your sleeves in the showroom or helping with shipping labels.
  • You are a self-starter who doesn't wait for instructions. You see a need, take initiative, and solve problems independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. French is a strong asset as we look to expand our market into Quebec.
