Job Description

Join an interdisciplinary team as a Clinical Pharmacist, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to inpatients and outpatients.

Your role includes medication monitoring, patient counseling, and contributing to clinical pharmacy research. This permanent full-time role involves direct patient interactions under the supervision of a Manager in Clinical Services. You will utilize your skills in medication safety, education, and evidence-based clinical research, which are vital for supporting multi-disciplinary healthcare practices.

A strong focus on mentoring students and liaising with Community Pharmacists adds depth to this position. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct pharmaceutical care to patients
  • Counsel patients on medication use and safety
  • Monitor patient medication therapy outcomes
  • Mentor pharmacy students and staff
  • Engage in clinical pharmacy research activities Requirements:
  • Graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Eligible for Nova Scotia Pharmacy registration
  • Minimum 2 years hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • BLS certification required
