Role Overview:

Roquette, a global leader in plant-based ingredients and pharmaceutical excipients, is seeking a Key Account Manager to join their Pharma Solutions development team in Mumbai. As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in building relationships and programs to support and drive growth for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical customers in India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deeply understand and leverage Roquette's strategy, values, and capabilities to position the company as a trusted partner for customers.
  • Identify and create new business opportunities, develop and execute sales strategies, and achieve financial goals.
  • Develop deep customer relationships through networking and exceptional customer service.
  • Create and execute account plans aligned with business objectives, maintain accurate sales forecasts, and prepare sales reports.
  • Drive revenue growth, manage customer interactions, and establish relationships of trust.
  • Become the center of expertise on Roquette's products for customers and liaise with internal teams to coordinate business development opportunities.
  • Collect and analyze market information to set out effective strategies and programs.

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Business Development and selling Pharmaceutical APIs and Excipients in the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Masters degree in pharmacy from a reputed Pharmaceutical College in India.
  • Business Management degree and qualification will be an added advantage.
  • B2B sales experience in a commercial and technical sales environment.
  • Knowledgeable about pharmaceutical industry trends, companies, and technology.
  • Experience with key account management, advanced selling, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in oral and written English communication; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency in important computer skills like Microsoft Office, operating systems, CRM software, and analytical tools.
