Clinical & Supervisory Skills
- Ability to provide supervision to counsellors, including reflective spaces, case discussions, and emotional containment
- Skilled in giving constructive, actionable, and sensitive feedback
- Ability to identify gaps in:
- Counsellor skills (e.g., listening, risk assessment, boundaries)
- Knowledge (e.g., psychosocial frameworks, crisis response)
- Training needs at an individual and team level
- Capacity to support counsellors in building a nuanced, intersectional, and psychosocial understanding of client concerns
- Comfortable navigating ethical dilemmas and decision-making in crisis situations
Ethos & Approach
- Deep commitment to a psychosocial, intersectional, and queer-affirmative lens
- Ability to hold complexity without reducing client experiences to diagnoses
- Alignment with person-centred, non-judgmental, and rights-based approaches to mental health
Project Management & Systems Thinking
- Strong skills in documentation, reporting, and quality monitoring
- Experience in creating, improving, and sustaining systems (e.g., call documentation, supervision logs, training trackers)
- Ability to track team performance and maintain quality standards

Work Scope1. Telephonic Counselling & Crisis Support
- Provide high-quality, empathetic telephonic counselling
- Hold safe, non-judgmental spaces for individuals in distress
- Support callers in building coping strategies and identifying psychosocial supports
- Handle crisis situations with grounded decision-making and ethical clarity
- Maintain detailed and confidential records of calls and follow protocols
2. Supervision & Capacity Building
- Provide regular supervision to counsellors (individual + group)
- Review calls and offer structured feedback and guidance
- Support onboarding and mentoring of new counsellors
- Identify training needs and contribute to designing training modules and upskilling sessions
- Strengthen the team’s reflective practices and self-awareness
3. Quality Monitoring & Systems Development
- Monitor quality of counselling services through call reviews and documentation audits
- Build and maintain systems for tracking performance, feedback, and outcomes
- Ensure consistency in ethical practices, documentation standards, and service delivery
- Collaborate on improving internal processes and workflows
4. Content, Training & Program Development
- Create mental health content (articles, social media, training material)
- Design and deliver workshops, trainings, and capacity-building sessions
- Contribute to research, case studies, and documentation of organisational learning
- Support expansion into multi-modal counselling services (chat, video, in-person)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
