Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mental Health Specialist role based in Mumbai. The Mental Health Specialist will provide direct support to employees or clients through individual consultations, psychoeducation sessions, and group programs focused on emotional well-being and resilience. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, identifying mental health needs, developing care plans, and coordinating appropriate internal or external referrals. The role includes crisis support, such as risk assessment and de-escalation, while following established protocols and documentation standards. The specialist will collaborate with HR, leadership, and wellness teams to design and deliver mental health initiatives, create awareness materials, and contribute to a psychologically safe work environment. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining confidential records, monitoring outcomes, and staying current with evidence-based practices and legal/ethical guidelines in mental health care.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with the ability to apply evidence-based approaches in workplace or clinical settings.
• Demonstrated experience in Mental Health Care and Case Management, including assessment, care planning, and coordination of services.
• Proficiency in Crisis Intervention, including risk assessment, safety planning, and appropriate escalation and referral.
• Relevant academic background such as a master’s degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health discipline.
• Licensure, certification, or registration in a mental health profession (where applicable) is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Experience working in corporate, community, or clinical mental health environments in diverse, multicultural contexts.
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple cases, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
