Position Summary

MIT-ADT University is looking for visionary, research-driven educators to join our global faculty team. The ideal candidates will foster an environment of high-impact research, deliver an industry-aligned curriculum using project-based learning, and mentor students in emerging technology domains.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Excellence & Teaching

• Deliver high-quality lectures, laboratory sessions, and tutorials for B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. programs.
• Design and continuously upgrade course curricula to align with emerging industry trends (e.g., Generative AI, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, VLSI Design, Edge Computing, and Embedded Systems).
• Practice innovative, project-based teaching pedagogies and integrate modern ICT tools into the classroom.

2. Research, Innovation & Intellectual Property

• Conduct original research and regularly publish in peer-reviewed, high-impact journals indexed in SCI, Scopus, IEEE, or ACM.
• [For Associate Professor] Actively seek, draft, and secure external research grants and funded projects from government bodies (DST, SERB, MeitY, ISRO) and private corporations.
• Foster an ecosystem of innovation by guiding students through patents, intellectual property (IPR) filings, and startup ideas in alignment with the university's Atal Incubation Centre (AIC).

3. Mentorship & Student Development

• Act as a major project guide or mentor for undergraduate capstone projects, postgraduate dissertations, and doctoral research.
• Guide and train students for national and international hackathons, technical design competitions, and industry internships.

4. Institutional & Administrative Contributions

• Contribute actively to university accreditation processes including NAAC, NBA, and NIRF.
• Facilitate industry connections, coordinate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), organize guest lectures, and manage corporate training via the Center for Industry-Academic Partnerships (CIAP).

Required Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the required criteria as per UGC and AICTE norms.

Education

• Ph.D. in Computer Science / Electronics or relevant domain (Highly Preferred / Mandatory for core tracks).
• First Class in B.E./B.Tech & M.E./M.Tech.

Experience

Assistant Professor:

• Minimum 2+ years of teaching, research, or industry experience.
• Fresh Ph.D. holders with excellent research records may also apply.

Associate Professor:

• Minimum 8–10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, out of which at least 3 years must be post-Ph.D.

Research Output

• Publications in SCI/Scopus-indexed high-impact factor journals.
• Proven track record of securing research funding/grants.

Preferred Areas of Specialization:

• Computer Science: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Cyber Security & Forensics, Blockchain Technology, Cloud Computing, Full Stack Development, Deep Learning.
• Electronics: Microelectronics & VLSI Design, Robotics & Automation, Signal Processing, IoT & Embedded Systems, Edge Computing, Electric Vehicles (EV) Technology.
