Job Description
- Plan, coordinate, and manage end‑to‑end transportation and distribution of goods
- Own transportation management, including route optimisation, carrier selection, and cost control
- Work closely with internal supply chain, warehousing, and supplier teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Manage distribution network operations while ensuring compliance with transport regulations and customs norms
- Track and analyse key performance metrics such as delivery timelines, costs, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
- Handle logistics issues, delivery escalations, supplier coordination, and share performance updates with stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
A successful Transportation Manager should have:
- 3-7 years of experience in logistics / transportation management, preferably with large organisations or MNCs
- Educational background in Engineering or Management from a reputed institute
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and experience coordinating with transporters, suppliers, and logistics teams
