If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><p>The HV Battery Build Technician is a hands-on role responsible for supporting the assembly, testing, and basic diagnostics of high-voltage (HV) battery systems. This position focuses on prototype build and validation activities, requiring strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support assembly and teardown of HV battery modules and packs, including cell integration, busbar and coolant systems, enclosure sealing, and diagnostic inspection</li> <li>Assist with validation and lifecycle testing, operating assembly tools, basic electrical test equipment, and CAN-based communication tools as required.</li> <li>Perform routine inspections, measurements, and basic diagnostics, escalating issues to senior technicians or engineering as needed.</li> <li>Execute battery pack and module builds while following defined procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols.</li> <li>Collaborate with build team members and supervisors to meet production and testing objectives while maintaining quality standards.</li> <li>Maintain detailed records of build and test activities, ensuring accurate reporting of issues and results.</li> <li>Uphold a safe working environment and proactively identify and report potential safety concerns.</li> <li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation efforts to enhance build efficiency and consistency.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>2–3 years of experience in automotive, manufacturing, or technical assembly environments.</li> <li>Associate’s degree in a technical field, ASE certification, or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>Foundational knowledge of HV battery systems, electrical components, and safe handling practices.</li> <li>Experience with mechanical assembly, hand tools, and basic electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeter).</li> <li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.</li> <li>Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) for documentation and reporting.</li> <li>Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.</li> <li>Willingness to work flexible shifts as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with electrical schematics and basic troubleshooting methods.</li> <li>Exposure to CAN communication tools or battery test systems.</li> <li>High voltage certification (or willingness to obtain).</li> </ul> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
