Role Overview:
You will be joining Ares Studio as an After Effects Artist in the VFX/motion team. Your main responsibilities will include creating motion graphics, compositing VFX elements, integrating 3D passes, supporting rigging and animation workflows, and ensuring project milestones are met while maintaining quality standards within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create motion graphics, title sequences, and animated content for film, game, and advertising pipelines
- Composite VFX elements into live-action or CG footage
- Work with pre-rendered 3D passes and integrate them cleanly in AE
- Support rigging and animation review workflows where applicable
- Meet project milestones and maintain quality within production deadlines
Qualifications Required:
- 2+ years of professional experience with Adobe After Effects
- Strong understanding of compositing fundamentals such as color, light, motion, and timing
- Proficiency with plugins like Trapcode Suite, Video Copilot, Element 3D (preferred)
- Experience working with render passes (Diffuse, Specular, AO, etc.)
- Familiarity with Cinema 4D, Blender, or any 3D software is a plus
- Ability to take direction from supervisors and iterate quickly based on feedback
- A solid showreel demonstrating range across motion graphics and/or VFX
