Compensation Manager (HR) is a delivery-focused opportunity based in Kochi, India. To independently establish and manage the Human Resources function, with a primary focus on statutory compliance, policy implementation, and performance management systems. Advise managers on performance, engagement, organization design, and employee relations topics. Support workforce planning, hiring alignment, and talent-review processes with strong operational follow-through. Use people data and qualitative signals to identify themes, risks, and areas for improvement. Drive consistent application of policies, processes, and people programs across the organization. Coach stakeholders through change, conflict resolution, and communication-sensitive moments. Collaborate with recruiting, L&D, compensation, and leadership teams on cross-functional people initiatives. Improve employee experience by identifying friction points and strengthening manager enablement. Maintain careful documentation and sound judgment in confidential or high-sensitivity cases. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in human resources, business, psychology, or a related field. Strong understanding of employee relations, stakeholder management, and organizational effectiveness. Strong communication, discretion, and judgment when handling sensitive people matters. Ability to balance operational rigor with employee empathy and business alignment. Comfort partnering with leaders and cross-functional teams on talent priorities.
