Inventory Manager
Compensation: $80,000$100,000 + Bonus Eligible
Were looking for a proactive and highly analytical Inventory Manager to oversee inventory health and ensure accuracy across multiple points in the supply chain. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys digging into data, uncovering the root causes behind discrepancies, and partnering with cross?functional teams to strengthen processes.
What Youll Do
- Take ownership of inventory integrity, addressing mismatches and leading investigations to resolve issues quickly.
- Review cycle counts, validate variances, and collaborate with operations teams to reinforce strong inventory practices.
- Interpret inventory trends, aging, and movement to support business planning and financial reporting.
- Monitor lot conditions and shelf?life risks, and work closely with Quality to address any concerns or deviations.
- Evaluate upcoming exposure from aging or excess product and recommend actions such as redeployment, rework, or disposal.
- Use ERP and WMS tools to build reports, spot anomalies, and enhance visibility into inventory performance.
What You Bring
- 35 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain analytics, or a similar function ideally within food manufacturing or distribution.
- Strong Excel abilities (advanced formulas, pivot tables; Power Query/Pivot helpful).
- Comfort working within WMS/ERP environments and interpreting complex data sets.
- A mindset geared toward identifying problems early and driving actionable solutions.
- Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with FEFO, shelf?life considerations, and food?related quality standards.
- Experience investigating lot?related issues, QA deviations, or inventory discrepancies.
- Ability to build dashboards or automated reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
