Job Description

Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant - Commercial Litigation Location: Seattle, Washington Schedule: Hybrid - 4 days on-site/1 remote; LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a highly regarded law firm to identify an experienced Legal Assistant to support a busy commercial litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside multiple attorneys across varying jurisdictions, providing high-level administrative and litigation support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and brings a strong understanding of litigation workflows, court procedures, and client service expectations.

Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence Perform e-filing in state and federal courts and ensure compliance with applicable court rules Generate and format tables of contents and tables of authorities (TOCs/TOAs) Manage attorney time entry, pre-bill review, and expense reimbursements Schedule meetings, coordinate travel arrangements, and manage conference room logistics Track CLE requirements and assist with attorney registrations and compliance Provide backup support to other administrative staff as needed Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or similar within litigation Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Experience with document management systems such as NetDocuments or similar platforms Advanced Word skills, including styles, track changes, and document comparison tools Familiarity with billing and expense tools such as Intapp Time or similar systems is a plus Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required Paid Time Off accrued up to 20 days per year (prorated based on hire date) plus 13 paid holidays ~ Paid Sick Leave in accordance with state law ~ Medical, dental, and vision insurance with multiple plan options, including domestic partner coverage ~Term life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability, and additional voluntary insurance options ~ Wellness programs, commuter benefits, and employee assistance programs ~ Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
