We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Salesforce Developer / Architect to lead the implementation and integration of Salesforce and other SaaS COTS platforms for a vital government contract with the United States Space Force (USSF) Commercial Satellite Communications Office (CSCO). This is an exciting opportunity for those who thrive on complex Salesforce projects in compliance-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead Salesforce architect, driving the design and development of Salesforce solutions that meet USSF CSCO's strategic objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure optimal system performance and strategic alignment.
  • Establish robust security frameworks ensuring compliance with government security requirements such as FedRAMP, IL5, and ATO. Offer expert guidance on security best practices to the team and stakeholders.
  • Innovate by developing advanced Salesforce solutions from concept to production that meet critical project timelines and push the platform's capabilities.
  • Implement Agile methodologies to enhance team productivity and project quality across multiple workstreams.
  • Provide strategic leadership throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring cohesive solutions through collaboration with various teams and external partners.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes and develop comprehensive testing strategies for sophisticated Salesforce applications in secure environments.
  • Design and implement complex Salesforce solutions utilizing advanced features and creating intricate integrations with government systems.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for USSF CSCO leadership, advising on Salesforce capabilities and aligning with long-term organizational goals.

Basic Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture, particularly in the federal government or defense sectors.
  • A U.S. Citizen with an active SECRET security clearance.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership experience in guiding and mentoring high-performing technical teams.
  • Successful track record of managing multiple large-scale Salesforce implementations in government sectors.
  • Certifications:
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect
  • Salesforce Certified System Architect
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
  • Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in Salesforce platform capabilities, including advanced solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and APIs.
  • Solid understanding of web application development, with knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks, CSS3, and HTML5.
  • Proficient in architecting complex, scalable Salesforce solutions using both declarative and programmatic tools.
  • Experience in establishing development standards and governance models for Salesforce.
  • Thorough understanding of implementing security models, including Salesforce Shield, SSO, and MFA in government contexts.
  • Expertise in designing large-scale system integrations in IL5 environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional certifications such as Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or relevant security certifications.
  • Experience with emerging Salesforce technologies like Tableau CRM and Salesforce Functions.
  • Deep knowledge of MuleSoft for API development and management in classified setups.
  • Familiarity with AWS GovCloud or Azure Government architecture and deployments.
