Assistant Manager, Procurement(Indirect)

Role Overview:

You are a highly driven procurement professional responsible for managing and executing procurement activities for non-engineering (indirect spend) categories at Landis+Gyr EMEA. Your role involves ensuring cost-effective sourcing, efficient vendor management, and adherence to procurement policies while supporting business requirements through strategic sourcing and supplier collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end indirect procurement (IMS) independently, including MRO, services, and GCC/GDC-related buying.
• Drive sourcing lifecycle from requirement understanding to delivery closure, ensuring cost optimization, quality adherence, and on-time delivery.
• Handle MRO procurement, critical and urgent buying requirements, establish rate contracts, and optimize repeat buying through standardization.
• Identify and develop new vendors, conduct supplier capability assessment, and expand vendor base for cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, SOPs, and approval matrices, and drive process improvement initiatives with a focus on process governance.
• Partner with various teams for stakeholder management, provide procurement insights, and maintain reporting & MIS to track KPIs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in engineering/commerce/supply chain; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations preferred.
• 79 years of experience in indirect procurement/IMS, with exposure to GCC/GDC environment highly preferred.
