Job Description
As a Senior Financial & Management Reporting specialist, your role will involve preparing and maintaining periodic MIS reports for management review. You will support the preparation of P&L, cost center reports, variance analysis, and dashboards. It will be your responsibility to ensure the timely and accurate closing of books in coordination with accounting teams. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of budget vs actual analysis and management presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and analyze cost structures, including product, project, process, or departmental costs.
- Track and analyze standard vs actual costs, identify variances, and provide actionable insights.
- Support cost allocation, absorption, and apportionment across departments/projects.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
In terms of Controls, Compliance & Audit Support, you will need to ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and accounting policies. You will also be required to support internal and statutory audits by providing the necessary data, schedules, and explanations.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- CA /CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred.
Work Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, cost accounting, or FP&A.
