Job Description: AVP

Stratego Ventures is the advisory and transaction platform supporting platforms owned and operated by JV Ventures across education, hospitality, healthcare, life sciences, and allied sectors.

We are looking for an Associate Vice President (AVP) to drive end-to-end deal execution, strategy, and portfolio value creation, working closely with the CEO and leadership team.

This role is ideal for someone with strong M&A, investment banking, or consulting experience who wants to operate across the full lifecycle — from sourcing to execution to post-deal impact.

Key Responsibilities1. Deal Sourcing & Origination

● Identify and evaluate acquisition and investment opportunities across sectors

● Build relationships with promoters, brokers, advisors, and institutional partners

● Drive inbound and outbound deal flow

2. Transaction Execution & Strategic Advisory (Core Focus)

• Lead end-to-end execution of transactions:

○ Deal structuring (equity, debt, JV structures)

○ Financial modeling and valuation

○ Conduct market studies and feasibility analysis (E.g. Schools, Hotels, mixed-use projects)

○ Preparation of IC notes, teasers, and pitch materials

○ Negotiation of term sheets and transaction documents

• Coordinate with legal, financial, and technical due diligence teams
• Work directly with Founders/CEOs on key strategic decisions

3. Fundraising & Capital Structuring

● Assist in raising debt/equity for projects

● Engage with lenders, NBFCs, PE funds, and family offices

● Structure financing aligned with project cash flows

4. Team Leadership

● Manage a team of analysts and associates

● Review financial models, presentations, and analysis

● Mentor junior team members and ensure high-quality output

Candidate ProfileExperience

● 5–8 years of experience in: Investment Banking / Private Equity / Corporate Finance / Consulting

● Strong experience in M&A transactions or deal execution is mandatory

Skill Set

● Strong financial modeling and valuation skills

● Solid understanding of transaction structuring (Equity/Debt/JV)

● Ability to independently manage deals end-to-end

● Excellent communication and negotiation skills

● Strong stakeholder management

Preferred Background

● Experience in Education / Real estate / Hospitality / Infra sectors is a plus

● Prior exposure to promoter-driven businesses is preferred

● MBA from a top-tier institute / CA / CFA preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
