Job Description
As a Finance Reporting Analyst at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a crucial role in handling financial data, reporting, and analysis. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Applying up-to-date product/industry/market knowledge in specialty areas of reporting
- Consolidating, reviewing, and analyzing quarterly financial data for accuracy and completeness
- Performing quarter-over-quarter variance analytics
- Coordinating data collection and quarterly business results with various lines of business, Regulatory Controllers, and reporting teams
- Assisting in the thorough assessment of issues and outcomes
- Clearly communicating financial information to the lines of businesses and flagging potential issues
- Participating in various aspects for the production, review, and filing of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports for various regulatory agencies
- Interpreting and defining regulatory requirements and coordinating internal and external policies
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 2-4 years of experience in a Finance organization with exposure to accounting, financial statements, and/or regulatory reporting
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in Product Control, Financial Control, or knowledge of Regulatory reporting is a plus
- Strong skills in time management, problem-solving, and written and oral communication
- Ability to work effectively across diverse functions, locations, and businesses
- Excellent Excel and computer skills
- Project management experience/skills are helpful
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills include:
- Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx (added advantage)
- Experience in discounted cash flow valuation
- Flexibility to work in APAC shifts
