You will sit within the Global Integrated Media Team, a nimble global center of excellence directly responsible for shaping, driving, and delivering strategic media campaigns globally for Asset Management and the Private Bank, reporting to our Head of Social Media. The successful candidate is an experienced social media marketer, skilled in executing high-impact, tactical marketing programs that are results-oriented, on-brand, engaging, and innovative, with diverse client management experience. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the global social media landscape.
As the Social Media Strategist and Community Manager Associate within Asset Management, you will help manage and execute programs across the firm's organic social media channels. You are a highly motivated, analytical, and innately curious individual with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our team. Your projects will focus on activating and managing best-in-class social media experiences to maximize client engagement through the promotion of the Asset Management brand, thought leadership, and product messaging. You will partner with marketing colleagues across lines of business, as well as Brand, Design, and Integrated Media and Performance Analytics teams, to manage the launch and performance of our various social media initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead channel strategy, planning and growth, community management, and engagement efforts on LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube—developing the voice, content cadence, and format mix
- Develop (write, create, design) social media content for Asset Management's corporate social media brand channels
- Assist in capturing/shooting content at live events and sponsorships
- Aid in the end-to-end production process and logistics for multimedia projects with the social and creative teams
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to produce content that feels credible, compelling, and on-brand
- Work closely with Compliance teams to obtain content approvals and ensure social media practices adhere to regulatory requirements
- Position Asset Management's executives as industry thought leaders through social amplification
- Report on social media performance, providing actionable insights on an ongoing basis
- Monitor social media accounts (social listening) for insights and key takeaways for stakeholders; escalate mentions as needed to the appropriate internal departments; and prepare internal reports as needed for key constituents
- Thrive in our fast-paced environment, fulfilling last-minute requests and quick turnarounds while prioritizing ongoing assignments
- Keep a pulse on current social media and cultural trends to identify new opportunities for our social strategy
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, content development, and/or managing social media channels for brands or publishers
- Savvy user with experience in content creation and campaigns across essential social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, WeChat)
- Experience using social management, monitoring, and analytics tools (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, Hearsay, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.)
- Knowledge of social media design tools (Canva, Adobe Express)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while maintaining high quality and attention to detail
- Intellectual curiosity and drive; self-starter; ability to multitask
- Team player with good judgment, a very strong work ethic, and a high energy level
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field, with excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, and writing skills
