About Role

We are hiring for one of our clients seeking a Tax Manager to support tax strategy, compliance, and reporting within a corporate environment. This role will focus on optimizing tax positions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting financial planning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency
• Support planning and reporting of effective tax rates and cash tax obligations
• Prepare and review corporate tax filings in coordination with external advisors
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact
• Support balance sheet reporting related to current and deferred taxes
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on tax-related matters
• Provide guidance on tax implications to support business decision-making

Qualifications (Required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in tax management or related roles
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent certification
• Experience with tax software and ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively
• Experience working in cross-functional environments

Compensation

Annual base salary range: CAD $110,000 – $150,000

This role may be eligible for performance-based incentives

Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and market factors
