Online Accounting & Finance tutor

We are seeking experienced tutors to provide one-on-one online tutoring to college and university students in business, accounting, finance, management, and statistics courses.

Tutors will help students understand course material, solve problems, prepare for assignments and exams, and build confidence in their academic studies.

Sessions are delivered virtually and scheduled based on student demand (typically 1–5 hours per week; hours are not guaranteed).

Topics May Include

Any of the following university or college-level courses and topics (or similar subjects):

• Cost Accounting
• Introduction to Finance
• Introductory Accounting
• Financial Planning
• Managerial Accounting
• Principles of Management
• Statistics

Topics may include:

• Financial statement preparation and analysis
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Cost-volume-profit analysis
• Job order and process costing
• Variance analysis
• Capital budgeting
• Time value of money
• Financial planning and investment fundamentals
• Managerial decision-making
• Organizational behaviour and management principles
• Leadership and business strategy
• Descriptive and inferential statistics
• Probability distributions
• Hypothesis testing
• Regression and correlation analysis
• Data interpretation and problem solving

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one online tutoring sessions
• Explain business, accounting, finance, management, and statistical concepts clearly and step-by-step
• Assist students with assignments, quizzes, projects, and exam preparation
• Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
• Maintain professionalism and punctuality during sessions

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong understanding of college and university-level accounting, finance, management, and statistics courses
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable teaching in an online environment
• Reliable internet connection and professional online presence

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Work Location: Remote
