Role Overview:

One of our clients, a global leader in the technology industry, is seeking a Contracting Attorney to work on a 1-month commercial contracting AI fellowship. This contract role involves working remotely to contribute to the development of next-generation legal AI systems. As a seasoned contracting attorney, you will help shape how advanced AI is trained, evaluated, and applied in real-world legal work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises to evaluate AI-generated suggestions for accuracy and risk identification
• Review and analyze SaaS contracts to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement contract drafting and negotiation strategies to refine and elevate next-generation legal AI systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide expertise on contract review, negotiation, and redlining
• Evaluate and provide feedback on AI-generated contract suggestions to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of AI models

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with SaaS contract review, negotiation, and redlining
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• In-house legal experience and knowledge of contract law
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
