Fund Manager-Equity

We are seeking a Fund Manager hands-on experience in equity fund management, with a strong focus on mid-cap and small-cap stocks. The role involves managing equity portfolios within a life insurance framework, ensuring optimal risk-adjusted returns while adhering to regulatory and internal investment guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and actively monitor equity portfolios.
• Conduct in-depth fundamental research, including financial analysis, industry tracking, and company interactions.
• Generate high-conviction investment ideas and build a robust investment pipeline.
• Track portfolio performance and take timely buy/sell decisions.
• Collaborate with the broader investment team for macro insights and sector views.
• Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations and internal risk frameworks.
• Prepare investment notes, portfolio reviews, and performance reports for internal stakeholders.
• Participate in investment discussions and contribute to strategy formulation.

Key Requirements

• Overall 10-15 years with 4-5 years of relevant experience in equity fund management with demonstrated expertise in mid-cap and small-cap investing.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Good understanding of market cycles, sector dynamics, and stock selection frameworks.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable to insurance investments is preferred.
• Ability to work in a structured investment environment.

Educational Qualifications

• MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA or equivalent qualification.
