Job Summary

The Coordinator to the Government Business Vertical will be responsible for end-to-end operational coordination of government business activities, with a strong focus on tender documentation, internal stakeholder alignment, and process management. This role requires high attention to detail, strong documentation discipline, and the ability to manage multiple government tenders and related paperwork within strict timelines.

About the Team

The Government Business Vertical at JioStar is focused on building and scaling partnerships with Central Government ministries, State Governments, PSUs, and autonomous bodies. The vertical drives integrated media, branded content, and strategic communication solutions aligned to government campaigns and public awareness objectives.

Leveraging Jiostar’s expansive television network, strong regional footprint, digital scale, and OTT ecosystem, the vertical delivers end-to-end solutions including:

FCT (Free Commercial Time) planning and execution for DAVP/NFDC

Government awareness campaigns

Integrated multimedia outreach (TV, OTT, Digital, On-ground amplification)

Strategic media partnerships for flagship government initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Tender Coordination & Documentation: Coordinate end-to-end tender participation process (EOIs, RFPs, GeM bids, limited tenders, etc.), Download, review, and circulate tender documents to relevant internal stakeholders, Track pre-bid meetings, corrigendum, and submission deadlines, Prepare and compile technical and commercial bid documentation, Ensure timely submission of bids (online/offline) as per guidelines, Maintain a master tracker of all live and submitted tenders.

Internal Coordination: Liaise with Sales, Finance, Legal, Production, and Leadership teams for required inputs and approvals

Skills and Attributes for Success

Strong documentation and filing discipline.

High attention to detail and deadline management.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PDF documentation tools.

Familiarity with GeM portal and e-tendering platforms preferred.Strong coordination and follow-up skills.

Ability to handle confidential and compliance-sensitive documents.

Preferred Education & Experience

Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferred experience in tender coordination / government business support/backend operations.

Experience handling central or state government tenders preferred.
