The Vendor Management and Risk Analyst is a newly created vacancy that will support processes related to vendor intake, onboarding, and ongoing vendor management including Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) within a regulated financial services environment
Working closely with Procurement and Risk Management teams, you will assist with collecting documentation, coordinating approvals, and confirming vendors meet internal policy and regulatory requirements over the lifecycle of the relationship. The Vendor Management and Risk Analyst will act as an operational liaison among internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will;
- Receive, review, and process vendor intake requests, ensuring required documentation and risk assessment information is complete, accurate, and submitted within established timelines.
- Support vendor onboarding and approval workflows by coordinating with internal stakeholders across Procurement, Risk, Compliance, Legal, IT, Information Security, Privacy, Finance, and contract owner groups.
- Classify vendors using established vendor management risk criteria and third-party risk management frameworks, escalating exceptions, issues, or gaps as appropriate.
- Assist with ongoing vendor monitoring activities, including periodic reviews, issue remediation tracking, audit requests, regulatory reviews, and related reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in intake, third-party risk management, contract repository, and arrangement inventory systems.
- Identify process inefficiencies, documentation gaps, and opportunities to improve vendor management and risk oversight processes.
- Act as an operational liaison among Contract Owners, vendors, and cross-functional teams to support timely, responsive, and effective vendor lifecycle management.
What we are looking for…
- 3+ years or equivalent experience in vendor onboarding, third-party risk management, compliance operations, procurement, or administrative support
- Postsecondary education in Business, Finance, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Exposure to financial services or another regulated industry is an asset
- Familiarity with risk, compliance, or governance concepts required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures
- Solid organizational and time‑management skills
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline‑driven environment
- Comfortable working with checklists, templates, and workflow tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Willingness to learn regulatory and third‑party risk requirements
What we pay…
Salary Range: $70,000 – 90,000
