• *Essential Functions**:
• *Data Exploration and Analysis**:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
• Utilize Python, R, and Excel to perform statistical analysis, data cleansing, and feature engineering.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies within large datasets.
• Develop and implement data transformation processes to enhance data quality and usability.
• *Data Visualization and Reporting**:
• Create compelling visualizations using Tableau or other tools to communicate complex insights to stakeholders.
• Design interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable information for decision-makers.
• Translate technical findings into clear, concise narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Ensure data visualizations adhere to best practices and enhance user understanding.
• *Finding Stories in Data**:
• Dig deep into the data to uncover compelling narratives and insights.
• Transform raw numbers into impactful stories that drive business decisions.
• Use data visualization techniques to convey these stories effectively, making them accessible and actionable for stakeholders.
• *Client Engagement and Delivery**:
• Work closely with clients to understand their unique data needs and objectives.
• Take existing reports tailored for individual clients and find ways to generalize them for broader use.
• Collaborate on project scoping, requirements gathering, and project planning.
• Deliver high-quality data products, reports, and recommendations to clients.
• Cultivate strong client relationships, actively listening to feedback and addressing concerns.
• *Qualifications**:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and Excel.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and data manipulation techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to diverse audiences.
• Experience in client-facing roles and a passion for driving business impact through data.
