Job Description

As an Operations Manager for a premium cosmetics retail outlet in Sinnar, Nashik, Maharashtra, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store independently. Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Setup & Vendor Management:
  • Identify, onboard, and manage cosmetic brands and distributors
  • Negotiate pricing, margins, credit terms, and return policies
  • Curate product mix aligned with target customer segments
  • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure supply continuity
  • Store Operations & Inventory:
  • Manage end-to-end store operations
  • Oversee stock planning, replenishment, and audits
  • Track product performance and inventory movement
  • Ensure store presentation, merchandising, and visual standards
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize losses
  • Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, and manage store staff
  • Set and monitor sales targets
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and experience
  • Sales, Marketing & CRM:
  • Plan and execute local marketing initiatives
  • Manage digital outreach (e.g., WhatsApp, social media platforms)
  • Build and maintain customer database (CRM)
  • Drive customer engagement, retention, and repeat business
  • Financial & Compliance:
  • Monitor sales performance, margins, and profitability
  • Track expenses and optimize operational efficiency
  • Coordinate with accounting professionals for GST and compliance
  • Ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and documentation
  • Business Growth:
  • Analyze sales trends and customer preferences
  • Introduce new products and categories
  • Develop strategies to grow revenue and strengthen market presence

Qualifications Required:

  • Strong communication skills in Marathi, Hindi, and English
  • Experience in retail store management, cosmetics, FMCG, or related sectors
  • Proven ability in vendor management and inventory control
  • Understanding of sales operations and customer engagement
  • Ability to work independently with a high sense of ownership
