JOB DESCRIPTION

Employment Type: Contract (Contract-to-Permanent Conversion)

Location: Any Office (Toronto, Mississauga, Burlington, Guelph, Calgary, Regina, Quebec, OR Montreal)

Rate: $54-$58

Insight Global is seeking a qualified Databricks Developer for one of Canada's leading insurance companies. The successful candidate will be joining a senior team in the Enterprise Data Office to support with data transformation for an ongoing modernization project. After the contract period, the team would like to convert the successful candidate to a fulltime role on the Business Intelligence team.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 6+ years of experience as a Databricks Developer
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and API integration
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
• Proficiency with PowerBI
• Excellent communication skills

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Insurance experience
