Project Manager – Active & Passive Telecom Infrastructure (PMP Certified)

Role Summary

Responsible for managing end-to-end Telecom Infrastructure projects covering both Active and Passive components. The role involves leading large-scale project implementations, project planning and review, monitoring overall project health, and proactively managing risks to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete project lifecycle (initiation to closure) following PMP methodologies
• Should have hands-on experience in reviewing and monitoring both Active and Passive telecom infrastructure projects
• Conduct regular project reviews against defined timelines and deliverables, identifying risks, cost variances, delays, and quality gaps, and provide actionable feedback to the project team for performance improvement.
• Monitor overall project health including execution efficiency, resource utilization, and timelines with first time right approach
• Manage stakeholders and vendors ensuring WCC & Invoicing happening as per the plan.
• Manage stakeholder and vendor for EHS compliance.
• Train the deployments leads on project planning and effective deployment

Key Skills & Competencies

• PMP Certified with strong project management expertise
• Experience in Telecom Infrastructure deployment, preferably passive infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of project planning tools (Gantt charts, MS Project, Primavera)
• Expertise in risk management and project implementation
• Ability to monitor and maintain project health.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in this sector
• Work experience in any African country will be an added advantage.
