Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the daily financial operations of our furniture manufacturing business. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing compliance, and working closely with our production and sales teams to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Bookkeeping & Accounting: Maintain daily records of sales, purchases, and expenses. Manage ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and accurate data entry in Tally.

· Accounts Payable & Receivable: Track customer outstanding balances, follow up on collections, process vendor payments, and monitor payment cycles.

· GST & Compliance: Prepare and file accurate GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), ensure GST-compliant invoicing, and assist with statutory audits.

· Inventory & Costing: Track inventory for raw materials and finished goods, reconcile stock with the production team, and assist in calculating product costs (materials, labor, overhead).

· Payroll & Expenses: Process employee salaries, track attendance and reimbursements, and monitor daily operational expenses.

· Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide MIS reports for management review.

· Cross-functional Support: Collaborate with sales, procurement, and production teams to assist in budgeting and overall financial planning.

Skills & Competencies:

· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

· Proven experience as an Accountant, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

· Strong hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally) and MS Excel.

· Solid understanding of GST regulations, inventory reconciliation, and standard accounting principles.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
