ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a passionate and creative Fashion Designer to join our growing fashion brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of innovative and marketable apparel collections, from concept to production. This role requires a strong understanding of fashion trends, technical skills, and the ability to translate creative vision into wearable garments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design & Collection Development (Brand & Client)

• Market Analysis & Trend Forecasting to identify target audiences, customer preferences, competitor analysis, and emerging trends.
• Develop innovative design concepts for Brand & Individual Client apparel collections.
• Develop original and innovative design concepts for apparel collections on CAD, including sketches, mood boards, and color palettes.
• Create Tech pack and specifications for garments, ensuring accurate sizing, fit, and construction details.
• Expertise in Executing the CAD Designs & Garments developed in to the AI models for the store Catalog & E-commerce site.
• Experiment with new fabrics, trims, and techniques to explore design boundaries.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and fashion weeks to stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations.

Fabric & Product Development

• Coordinate with sourcing and production teams for sample development.
• Select suitable fabrics, textures, accessories, and embellishments.
• Ensure designs are practical, production-friendly, and commercially viable.
• Review patterns, silhouettes, finishing, and garment construction.
• Collaborate with CAD pattern maker & Masters, sample sewers, and other relevant departments to translate designs into prototypes
• Conduct fit sessions and make necessary adjustments to ensure garments meet design specifications and fit standards.

Production Support

• Work closely with the production team to maintain quality and design accuracy.
• Production house Visits to Suggest modifications and improvements during development stages .
• Ensure timely approvals and smooth execution of collections.
• Monitor design consistency from concept to final production.

Coordination with Creative & Marketing Teams

• Support photo shoots, campaign styling, and collection presentations.
• Coordinate with photographers, stylists, and marketing teams for product launches.
• Assist in creating catalogs, look books, and social media content for e-commerce.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in fashion designing preferred.
• Strong Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or fashion design software is an added advantage
• Excellent sketching and creative visualization skills.
• Knowledge of fabrics, embroidery, garment construction, and fitting.
• Ability to identify trends and customer preferences.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Minimum 2 year + Experience
• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design) or Corel Draw or Procreate and other relevant design software.
• Proficiency in AI Execution of CAD Designs & Garments on models.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design skills and a unique aesthetic.
• Excellent understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and draping techniques.
• Experience with sustainable and ethical fashion practices.
• Knowledge of digital design tools and 3D modeling software.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for fashion and a strong understanding of current trends.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Good coordination and time management skills.
• Creative and detail-oriented personality.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
