Job description
We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
- Provide network operations and engineering sustainment support for IP messaging and communications transport networks.
- Develop an understanding of services offered to external organizations and provide lifecycle systems engineering support.
- Collaborate with network architects to improve STIG compliant configuration baselines.
- Lead development of SOPs/TTPs and support Continuous Service Improvements.
- Perform highly technical maintenance involving firewalls, VPNs, IPS, load balancers, routers, switches, and WANX.
What You'll Need
- Active DoD clearance at the Top-Secret level with SCI eligibility.
- Security+ Certification or other DOD 8570 IAT Lvl II Certification.
- Extensive knowledge of defense-in-depth principles, network and security architecture, and IT device integrity.
- 4+ years’ experience engineering and troubleshooting networks, including MPLS, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Strong understanding and in-depth knowledge of IP network/subnet addressing.
- Hands-on experience deploying, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco enterprise network devices.
