Job Description

Location Details: United States, remote

At GoDaddy, the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) , and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.  

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

Join Our Team

The Risk Operations team is responsible for mitigating fraud and credit losses for GoDaddy Payments. We conduct high-risk investigations into merchant accounts flagged for suspicious activity, identify fraud trends, and work to ensure our platform is safe for our customers. 

What you'll get to do...

  • Work in a fast-paced queue environment to review high-risk transactions and account activity.
  • Mitigate risk and fraud exposure through detailed merchant investigations by collecting and analyzing business/account information and documentation.
  • Identify and flag developing fraud and risk trends.
  • Provide feedback and solutions to help improve our risk workflows and to support our merchants with a seamless, world-class experience.
  • Maintain production and quality operational targets.

Your experience should include...

  • 3+ years of experience in the fraud or risk industry, including work in queue-based or support environments.
  • Strong customer-focused outlook with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, take initiative with minimal direction, and proactively mitigate potential issues and barriers.
  • Strong willingness to learn and continuously expand knowledge in fraud and risk.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays within the PT time zone (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM PT).

The estimated pay ranges for this role are listed below. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation, which may include a corporate bonus and/or equity awards, subject to the terms of applicable plans and individual eligibility.

$79,500$119,500 USD
Austin, D.C. Metro, CA (non-Bay Area), HI, IL, MA, NH, OR, VA, WA:
