ABOUT THE ROLE

Genetix Biotech Asia is the India distribution partner for BioGenes GmbH (Germany) — the 360-HCP ELISA kit family used by biosimilar, vaccine, gene therapy, and CDMO manufacturers to quantify host cell protein impurities under FDA, USP <1132>, and ICH Q6B. We are hiring a Product Manager to own this line end-to-end in India: positioning, pricing, demand generation, technical sales support, and KOL engagement.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

P&L for the BioGenes HCP line in India — forecast, pricing, gross margin, channel mix.
Positioning and battle cards by segment (CHO biosimilars, E. coli, HEK293, vaccines) and vs Cygnus and Sartorius Octet.
Sales enablement — train the field team, build pitch decks, demo scripts, objection guides, and leave-behinds.
Demand generation — webinars, technical white papers, CPHI / BIO Asia presence, LinkedIn and scientific-portal campaigns.
Customer & KOL engagement at biosimilar (Biocon, Dr. Reddy's, Intas, Lupin), vaccine (Serum Institute, Bharat Biotech, Biological E), and CDMO (Syngene, Aurigene, Enzene) accounts.
Bridge to BioGenes Berlin R&D on custom HCP projects, coverage data, and regulatory queries (CDSCO, FDA, EMA).

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

5–9 years in product management, technical sales, or applications support in biotech / life sciences — ideally bioprocess analytics, ELISA, chromatography, or upstream / downstream consumables.
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Pharmacy. MBA is a plus, not a must.
Working knowledge of biologics manufacturing — upstream, downstream, and release-spec testing.
Comfortable selling to PD scientists, QC heads, and regulatory affairs leaders — can discuss coverage data, orthogonal methods, and dossier requirements without a script.
Willing to travel ~30% (Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Ahmedabad).

NICE TO HAVE

Hands-on ELISA / 2D Western / mass-spec lab experience, or prior exposure to BioGenes, Cygnus, Sartorius, Cytiva, or Merck Millipore lines.
Existing relationships at Indian biosimilar or vaccine manufacturers, or experience with institutional tenders.
