Reports To: Head of Marketing
What’s the mission?
We are seeking an analytical and driven ecommerce analyst to optimize our online sales performance, customer experience, and digital marketing effectiveness. As an ecommerce analyst, you will leverage data insights to drive revenue growth, improve conversion rates, and enhance the overall online shopping journey for our racing community.
Key Responsibilities: The Impact You'll Make
- Own the Customer Journey: Deep-dive into the customer journey—from the first moment of awareness to long-term loyalty. You’ll find the friction points and work with the team to identify fixes and opportunities.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Run A/B tests on product pages, offers, buyer personas, and ads. Measure results and help the team focus on what actually works.
- Demand & Inventory Forecasting: Work closely with our Digital Merchandiser and product teams to predict what’s going to fly off the shelves and where the next big opportunity lies.
- Marketing Attribution: Track how our ads are performing (Google, Meta, Email, Social, etc.) and help us understand where our money is best spent.
- Competitive Intelligence: Keep a pulse on the market. You’ll benchmark our performance against competitors to ensure FXR stays ahead of the curve.
- Executive Reporting: Create simple dashboards and weekly reports. You’ll provide the executive team with the insights they need to pivot quickly and capture every available market share.
Who You Are
- Data-Driven, Action-Oriented: You don’t just build reports — you explain what the numbers mean and what we should do next. Curious by Nature: You enjoy digging into the "why" behind the numbers.
- Technically Savvy: You’re comfortable navigating the tools of the trade (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, BI tools, etc.).
- Collaborative: You can discuss inventory, products, and ROI with all related departments.
Technical Skills
- Web Analytics Expert: Mastery of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is non-negotiable. You should know how to configure custom events, exploration reports, and conversion paths.
- Data Visualization: Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio to build dash boards.
- Attribution Modeling: Deep understanding of multi-touch attribution (MTA) and how to evaluate the true ROI of Meta, Google Ads, and Email (Experience with Klaviyo is an asset)
- Familiarity with specific ecommerce platforms like Shopify Plus, Magento, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Required Experience
- 3-5 Years in ecommerce Analytics: Proven track record in a data-centric role within a D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) or retail environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is an asset
- Forecasting History: Experience working with supply chain or inventory teams to link marketing demand with product availability.
