Job Description
The Supply Chain Director is responsible for end-to-end supply chain strategy, planning, and execution. This role oversees procurement, logistics, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure efficiency, cost optimization, and service excellence. The ideal candidate drives operational performance, builds resilient supply networks, and aligns supply chain functions with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business goals and growth plans
- Lead procurement, vendor management, and sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards
- Oversee logistics, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels
- Drive demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and digital transformation initiatives
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance (SLAs, KPIs)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and sustainability practices
- Analyze supply chain data and KPIs to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels
- Lead risk management initiatives, including contingency planning and supply continuity strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, finance, production) for alignment
- Build and mentor high-performing supply chain teams

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10–15+ years of experience in supply chain, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, demand planning, and inventory control
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and supply chain analytics tools
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledge of global supply chain practices and risk management

Pay: ₹5,000,000.00 - ₹6,000,000.00 per year
