Role and Responsibilities of Retail Operations Associate:

Working at Five Below requires you to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to store operations to maintain a joyous and hospitable shopping environment for all patrons.

• Show genuine care and professionalism in addressing customer queries and challenges with active listening.
• Exhibit proficiency in product awareness, suggest suitable choices, and deliver tailored solutions to address customer inquiries.
• Boost customer participation by promoting store events, discounts, and activities to improve engagement levels.
• Politely attend to customer concerns and provide alternative options when suitable.
• Provide updates on restocking merchandise and customer evaluations to the supervisors.
• Collaborate collectively with the team for the attainment of store and company objectives.

Qualifications for Retail Operations Associate:

• One must have reached the age of 16 or older to participate.
• The ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary.
• Skilled in the use and acquisition of knowledge about technology like registers and handheld devices.
• Demonstrates expertise in communication and customer service proficiency.
• Capability to promptly tackle issues with professionalism and expertise.
• Ready to enhance expertise through practical on-the-job education.

Essential Job Functions of Retail Operations Associate:

• Operate the cash register to facilitate customer transactions and handle payments securely.
• Carry and sort merchandise weighing a maximum of 25 pounds and place them on shelves that are up to 10 feet high.
• Climb ladders, flex, twist, and crouch down while performing stocking responsibilities and supporting customers.
• Interact through face-to-face interactions and phone calls with customers, coworkers, and managers.
• Constantly transition across the sales floor and stockroom areas.
• Retain your focus and remain standing for an extended period.
• Show readiness to adjust your timetable to include overnight shifts as necessary.
