Role and Responsibilities of Retail Floor Associate:

As a team member at Five Below, your primary responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service and aiding in store operations to ensure that the shopping experience is enjoyable and welcoming for everyone.

• Demonstrate attentive listening to identify and resolve customer concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Offer product expertise, suggest options, and provide customized solutions to address customer needs comprehensively.
• Strengthen customer engagement by advertising store events, promotions, and activities to enhance interaction.
• Manage customer issues with respect and present alternative solutions where feasible.
• Transmit details regarding restocked items and customer input to the management team.
• Engage in teamwork to meet the store and company goals effectively.

Qualifications for Retail Floor Associate:

• Individuals who are at least 16 years of age are eligible to enter.
• Availability is needed during evenings, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility.
• Capable and at ease with employing technology such as registers and mobile devices.
• Excellent at both customer service and communication competencies.
• Proficient at swiftly and professionally resolving various concerns.
• Eagerness to gain knowledge through workplace training.

Essential Job Functions of Retail Floor Associate:

• Carry out cashier responsibilities and process customer transactions accurately.
• Transport and arrange items that weigh no more than 25 pounds and can be stored on shelves reaching a height of 10 feet.
• Utilize ladders to reach heights, bend, twist, and stoop in tasks involving stocking and customer assistance.
• Engage in in-person and telephonic discussions with clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Move back and forth between sales areas and stock storage locations.
• Continue to concentrate and stay in an erect position for long periods.
• Be open to adapting to changing schedules, including the possibility of working during the night.
