Role Overview:
At EY, as a CMO Contracts team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring consistent management of contracts and proposals, overseeing contractual processes during the transition of new Managed Services engagements. You will collaborate closely with global stakeholders and delivery teams to support the commercial and contracting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design of competitive commercial terms for strategic deals by collaborating with various teams such as pursuit leader, solution architect, legal, pricing, negotiations, risk, and independence.
- Review client proposed commercial and contracting terms to achieve a balance of competitiveness and risk mitigation, working in coordination with multiple stakeholders.
- Provide general support to pursuits in the commercial and contracting space, including creating and negotiating preparatory contracts like NDAs, teaming agreements, and sub-contracts.
- Consult on appropriate contract structures and templates, aligning them with pursuit needs and client requests.
- Ensure adherence to approved contractual positions and delegation of authority guidelines.
- Support the qualification process of strategic pursuits by offering commercial value while mitigating risks.
- Provide Contract Management functionality on key EY contracts and accounts using suitable processes and tools.
- Transfer commercial and contract knowledge to EY delivery teams for the ongoing management of contracts.
- Capture knowledge into EY artefacts to support strategic pursuits effectively.
Qualification Required:
To qualify for this role, you must have:
- A Law degree, and/or a Post Graduate Business or Contract Law qualification.
- 5 years of post-qualification experience with proven contractual drafting skills.
- Experience in contract management or similar roles in a top-tier professional services firm.
- Ideally, experience with Managed Services in a top-tier professional services firm.
