Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Cleaner / General Laborer to join a team in Fredericksburg, VA. This position will support daily operations by cleaning and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment in a warehouse/industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to safely perform physical tasks throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain heavy machinery and industrial equipment
• Remove dirt, debris, and buildup from equipment and work areas
• Assist with general labor duties throughout the facility
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all facility safety procedures and guidelines
• Properly use cleaning tools, equipment, and required PPE
• Assist team members with daily operational needs as assigned
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout the shift

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience required
• Must be comfortable working around heavy machinery and industrial equipment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and remain active for up to 8 hours per shift
• Outgoing, dependable, and able to communicate well with team members
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
• Successful completion of a background check required

Important Site Requirements:

• Cell phones are not permitted inside the building
• Employees may use phones outside in their personal vehicles during lunch breaks only
• Must follow all facility rules and safety procedures

Dress Code / PPE Requirements:

• Steel-toe shoes with metatarsal protection required
• Long pants required (no shorts)
• Work-appropriate clothing required
• Safety gear must be worn as required by the facility
• No open-toed shoes, loose clothing, or unsafe footwear permitted

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday – Friday
• 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• $17.00/hour
• Temp-to-perm opportunity based on performance and attendance
