About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Helper to join a busy high-end granite and marble fabrication shop. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn a skilled trade, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with handling, moving, and organizing granite and marble slabs
• Measuring granite marble slabs precisely will be the main focus of this role
• Load and unload materials safely (manual lifting required)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas
• Operate basic tools and equipment (training provided)
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous experience in precise measuring of marble/granite slabs
• Comfortable lifting heavy materials (50+ lbs) and performing physical work
• Strong work ethic and reliability—shows up on time and ready to work
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
• Basic understanding of tools and machinery is an asset (not required)
• Clean Driver’s License is required as you will need to visit job sites; company vehicle is provided
