Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Laborer / Oil & Gas Laborer to join our dynamic team in the energy sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on oil rig sites, pipeline projects, and construction sites, supporting the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment and infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of oil rig equipment, pipelines, and related infrastructure.
• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tanker trucks in accordance with safety protocols.
• Support horizontal drilling operations and mechanical tasks requiring technical knowledge.
• Perform general labor duties including site cleanup, material handling, and equipment setup.
• Rigging and securing loads for transport or installation using appropriate techniques.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Assist with construction activities on oil & gas sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Support commercial driving tasks as needed, including transporting materials or equipment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Skills

• Prior experience working on oil rigs or in construction site environments.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tanker trucks.
• Mechanical knowledge related to pipeline systems, horizontal drilling, and oil & gas infrastructure.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices in industrial settings.
• Ability to perform rigging tasks safely and efficiently.
• Experience with construction activities involving excavation and site preparation.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for tanker or truck driving roles.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, mechanical tools, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
